A Face Made For Radio...

I've always said that I have a perfect radio face :).  All kidding aside our 5 minutes of radio fame was so much fun!  Mick and Allen of KBER (http://www.kber.com/) are totally genuine guys who care a lot about kids.  We arrived at the station a few minutes early as instructed.  Apparently they had some computer problems and were running a few minutes late.  Savanna and I waited in the lobby with Melissa from Shriners.  We had a rousing game of hangman going to pass the time.  Of course Savanna was talkative and bubbly in the lobby but was totally nervous and shy once we got in the studio.  We got to sit on the tall stools and wear the big DJ headphones.  Savanna was quite amused by the moving microphones.  I was touched to see that both Mick and Allen had read Savanna's story from the Shriners website.  They were prepped and ready to go.  I ended up doing most of the talking as Savanna was pretty quiet.  All in all I can definietly say it was an experience to remember!

Thanks KBER for inviting us into the studio and promoting such a wonderful cause!  If you want to join us The Wrights Motorcycle Benenfit Ride is this Sunday the 16th.  Signups start at 8:30am at Wrights 3500 s. State St in SLC.  The weather should be good so the riders will have couple canyon ride options.  They'll finish up at West Bountiful Park around lunchtime (12 or 1pm or so).  We will be at the picnic and raffle in the park, showing our support for Shriners.  It is definitely a worthwhile cause if you can make it!

Thanks again for all those who listened and sent us your love!
