***Warning...ridiculously long post ahead***

I know that last weeks "post" was totally lame so I thought I would make up for it today with a huge post filled with lovely photos.

Hold the phone!  Did she say photos?  Yes folks that's right, I'm posting photos on my photography blog.  Crazy I know!!

Without further ado let me re-introduce The Fisher Family.

I know you all know my little friend Miss Abbie.  Well these fine folks are her lovely parents, Levi and Kristalee.  I have been photographing Abbie since she was a tiny little baby.  Like most parents Levi and Kristalee focus most of their energy on their sweet little girl so it's not often I get the two of them in front of my lens.

Speaking of the two of them.  Check them out, aren't they the cutest?!  There is no need to re-adjust your monitor.  Yes Kristalee is a fellow red-head.  Maybe that is why we get along so well. :)

Since I wouldn't want Miss Abbie to feel left out here she is in all her sweetness.  Can't you just feel the joy on her face.  She is one of those truly happy kids who is always smiling.

It would be unfair of me not to include every member of The Fisher Family.  This little guy is a well worn Pooh Bear that goes everywhere with Abbie.

Now let's move onto something super sweet.  Literally!

Making cookies!!

Sugar cookies, one of my favorites!

With frosting, even better!

Don't forget the jelly beans and sprinkles!  Of course if you know me you know I would rather have plain 'ol frosting, minus the cookie or sprinkles.  Straight out of the bowl is even better!

I just love this shot.  Everyone's hands all together and the bright colors-YUM!

Last one, I promise!  What could be better than snuggling in bed with Pooh Bear and a good story.  This is the life for sure!

If you've made it to the end of this post you deserve a gold star for sure.  I promise more fabulous photos soon.  Thanks for sticking with me y'all!

Angela

p.s.  these photos were all taken during a "day in the life" session in The Fishers home.  I came to them with my equipment and super huge smile.  If you are interested in a session in your own home, contact me for more information.

Our Life...

I thought I would take just a quick minute and post a few personal photos that I think really capture who we are right now.  Yes I know I should be working but I've been told I'm easily distracted. :)

This was our family Christmas Card photo for last year.  Let's keep it real and say that no it was not one of my favorites, but it is what it is.  Both my kids are smiling, we are all in the same place at the same time and we are all looking in the general direction of the camera.  There you have it.  The makings of a Lilyquist Family photo.

This is my husband Rob taken on the balcony of our hotel room in San Diego CA last spring.  Very typical of my husband.  Quiet, reserved, just doing his own thing.

please do not click to enlarge :)

This is me on the boat during our "whale not watching cruise" in San Diego.  No we didn't see any whales and yes that is very ugly wind blown hair.

This is my daughter Savanna.  She will be 9 in June and is incredibly excited for her upcoming ballet recital.  I swear I don't see the resemblence to me but I've been told she's a mini me.  Attitude an all!

This little comedian is my recently turned 6 year old son Logan.  He thinks he's quite the funny guy, and most days we all agree.

What kind of mother would I be if I didn't include a photo of the two kids together.  Well folks this is all you get.  Will they smile and be cute for the camera?  Heavens no!  Will they play and dig in the dirt barefoot?  Anyday!

Well folks, there you have it.  The Lilyquist Family in a nutshell.  Every moment is crazy and chaotic but you know what?  I wouldn't have it any other way!

Until next time!

I thought it was spring?!

What is with this weather?  My tulips and daffodils had just started blooming and now I think they have frozen to death. :(  I keep hoping for flip flop weather only to be disappointed by Mother Nature yet again.

Well enough boo hooing how about a couple cute kiddos?  I'm sure y'all remember Annie and Elliot right?

Well I had the pleasure of playing with these two cuties again recently.  In light of this lovely weather we seem to continue having we opted for a little fun in the studio this time.

Isn't Annie just a doll.  Look at those lips!  That is her sweet little way of grinning and I just love it!

This handsome little man is Annie's brother Elliot.  He is a spunky little guy at times but I think we still managed to get some fabulous shots!  It's all the smarties I bribed him with.  :)

My kids are home this week for Spring Break but without any "spring" in sight I'm sure we'll be hanging out inside.  Hope everyone has some super fun plans!

Also just thought I'd mention that now is the time to plan for those fun spring and summer photos.  Eventually the weather has to warm up right?!  Call or email now to ensure the best spots.

ta ta for now!
